Billie was born in Oklahoma. At an early age she moved to Santa Paula. She met her husband while line dancing and they married soon after. Billie was self-employed for 35 years; she owned a furniture and gift shop in Santa Paula. Billie’s Victorian home is on the map as being one of the delightful stops on the Homes and Gardens Tour of Santa Paula. Described as a home that celebrates the nooks, crannies, and all other things Victorian, homey, sweet and slightly eccentric, it is set amid 1 1/2 acres including wide expanses of lawn and rock-walled courtyards sheltered by magnificent oaks. The approximately 3,000 square foot residence, sheathed in green, has been home to Billie Ann since 1963 and over the decades has undergone additions and renovations, while keeping true to its Victorian roots.
Billie’s oldest daughter lives nearby in Camarillo and works with children who need a loving home.
Her oldest son lives in Michigan. He is a pilot. Her youngest son lives nearby in Ventura and is self-employed. Sadly, she lost her youngest daughter to cancer. She has a total of 6 grandchildren.
Billie enjoys being with people and sees herself as a people person, she is happy about her move to the Ventura Townehouse.
