Hi there! My name is Daniel Adams and I’m the new Business Office Director at the Townehouse. For the past 16 years, I have worked in the banking industry. I decided that I was ready for a change. When I left the bank a few weeks back, I thought I was going to take a couple of months off and enjoy a vacation or two. My first trip was to visit my grandma, Kathy, to celebrate her 85th birthday. Grandma’s birthday party was at an airport just outside of the city and we celebrated by putting her in a plane and taking her SKYDIVING! I’ll admit that I thought she was crazy for wanting to do it, but I will always remember the look on her face immediately afterward. She experienced a lifelong dream, and I was so happy to be there for it.
The day after Grandma’s party, I came across the opportunity to join the Townehouse as the Business Office Director. After the experience with Grandma, I felt like this job was calling my name. After visiting, I couldn’t pass up the chance to be a part of this community.
I also run a small non-profit aimed to make local youth soccer more affordable for those who are less fortunate. My family and the people in my community mean everything to me. My wife, Annette, and I reside in Oxnard with our two children, Julian, and Leah. We have 3 dogs, Rufus, Homer and Bean. My family is excited that I found a community that I wanted to be a part of, and I couldn’t be any happier to be here. I look forward to getting to know you all.
