Dianna was born in Vermont but married and raised her family in a small town in Rhode Island. She and her husband Robert (who is currently 97 years old) are in their 70th year of marriage. They have three children, four grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter due in August.
Together Robert and Dianna shared a love for collecting antiques and furnishing their historic 18th-century farmhouse. Throughout their lifetimes they assembled an eclectic collection of antique furniture, pottery, tools, rugs, paintings, dishware, and interesting miscellaneous items. Dianna still has some of her favorite antiques in her apartment at the Townehouse.
Dianna has strong love for four – legged friends, including dogs and cats, but especially horses. She was an avid horsewoman until moving to Ventura Townehouse, competing throughout her adulthood in three-day event competitions including timed cross-country jumping, stadium jumping, and dressage. In her high school days, Dianna was a champion badminton player.
Today Dianna enjoys reading, playing the accordion, and taking long walks. Her youngest daughter, Pam, is our new NeuroFit coach! So, of course, three days a week (Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday at 1 pm) you will find Dianna participating in the NeuroFit boxing classes held in our Lower-Level Craft Room. Stop by and say “hi”!
