Cocktail Socials
Our Cocktail Socials have been moved to Mondays at 2pm in the Pavilion. Join Rachel and friends for drinks, snacks, and good company. Also note: Beanbag Baseball is now on Wednesday at 3pm.
Oktober Fest – Friday, October 4
We will celebrate Oktoberfest in style. Come along and join the polka dancing with our good friend Steve Ormond at 3pm in the Dining Room Lounge. We will serve Bavarian Beer with soft pretzels dipped in Bryan’s delicious beer cheese sauce. Join us for a barrel of fun! After all that dancing and beer drinking, join us for dinner when our executive chef will offer up a festive Bavarian fare. We will start with a variety of classic Bavarian sausages, served with plenty of mustard and sauerkraut, or you may prefer a thin breaded pork chop fried and served with a port wine glaze. All entrees will be served with sauteed red cabbage, apples and warm German potato salad.
Halloween Party – Thursday October 31
Join us, in the Dining Room Lounge for a special Halloween Happy Hour! Wear your Halloween Costume and win prizes for best costume.
Enjoy a special Halloween dinner starting with “Bat Wings” prepared in a tangy sweet and sour sauce, special pasta primavera, and Halloween shaped pasta tossed with fresh vegetables in a herbed olive oil.
Special Events & Outings
Wednesday, October 2 – Join Nancee for another thrift store bargain shopping extravaganza. We will leave the Front Lobby at 10:30 am.
Wednesday, October 16 – We will enjoy a day outing to Chumash Casino or if you prefer strolling through the village of Solvang, there you can indulge in authentic Danish pastries at one of the world-famous bakeries while admiring the old-world European architecture. You will find the perfect souvenir at a variety of charming boutiques and shops. We will leave the front lobby at 9:00 am.

Wednesday, October 23 – Ok fellows, MEN ONLY! Join Ed and Daniel for beer and pizza at Topper’s Pizza Place. We will leave the Front Lobby at 11 am.
Wednesday, October 30 – Join us for a fun outing & lunch to Lane Farm Pumpkin Patch in Santa Barbara. Lane Farms Pumpkin Patch has hayrides, corn mazes and of course… tons of pumpkins!
