Meet World Traveler Suzi Allen. She was born in San Francisco but lived in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara growing up. Suzi was manager of Wells Fargo in Ojai and met her husband, who was also in the banking industry, in Santa Barbara. They have a son and daughter. Her daughter just made her a first-time grandmother and is a teacher in the Christian School on Telegraph Rd.
Suzi and her husband, after retiring, traveled to Tahiti, France, Montenegro, Japan, China, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Oslo, Stockholm, Hawaii, England, Wales, Cuba and stateside to Upstate NY and the Adirondacks. While in France she went to cooking school. As Suzi says she feels very fortunate and very special. She came to the Townhouse after living briefly in The Gables in Ojai. Suzi found the residents there “too old” as she likes games and activities. She is very happy here, as she settles in, and is regaining her strength after a stroke last fall.
