George grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and joined the Air Force where he was stationed on Cape Cod. Ellie was born and raised in Woburn, Massachusetts. Between her sophomore year and junior years of college Ellie worked on Cape Cod.
Then due to a strange parking brake, Ellie met George. Two years later, they were married. In the year their first child was born, Ellie insisted that George leave the Air Force and go to college. Three years later, now with three children, George graduated and the family of five moved to Connecticut.
Seven years later, the family of nine moved to California. George started a plastics extrusion company and 23 years later sold it to his son Robert and became his employee. Robert sold the company to a Fortune 500 Company and retired. George worked five more years and retired in 2023.
In the meantime, Ellie earned two master’s degrees becoming both a Reading Specialist and an inner-city School Principal. After turning around a failing Parochial School in Santa Ana, California, she retired. They moved into Ventura Townehouse in December 2023. Ellie and George are enjoying their retirement at the Townehouse, they are making new friends and enjoying many of the activities.
