Happy March – Spring can’t be far behind! As much as we’ve loved the wet and wild weather, we are all looking forward to the warmer, longer days of spring. This month in our resident newsletter, you’ll meet several of our fascinating residents, including Dr. Elidé Beltram, a psychoanalyst, writer, scientist, composer whose life experiences include studying the behavior of the wild orangutan of Borneo and teaching language to dolphins in Hawaii!
You’ll also be introduced to Rod Sanders, whose lifelong love of music started at an early age. Rod picked up the guitar at the age of 12 when his parents gave him a guitar for Christmas, and he has been playing ever since!
Barbara Morris is our resident of the month. Barbara is such a joy and inspiration to everyone at the Townehouse, and she devotes many hours monthly to helping residents in various activities including calling Thursday night bingo, leading our bible study and Thursday morning prayer group, and volunteering as a Ventura Townehouse Ambassador.
Meanwhile, resident David Lenahan shares his thoughts on having time for cultivating meaningful relationships with others as we grow older.
