Ventura Townhouse residents were thrilled with a standing-room-only performance from the HarpWorks Ensemble this past Saturday afternoon! HarpWorks Ensemble was founded in August 2016 by Michelle Whitson-Stone, a professional harpist. Michelle has performed for many dignitaries and celebrities including Presidents Clinton, Ford, and Reagan, as well as Henry Mancini, Bob Hope and Quincy Jones. She is well known for her pop arrangements of “What the World Needs Now,” “Moon River,” “The Very Thought of You” and more.
The ensemble has played at many venues during its four years, including the Motion Picture and Television Fund, and a public concert for the American Harp Society Chapter of Santa Barbara. Seeing seven harps/harpists in one location was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many!
